# Project dashboard

The **project dashboard**, or **Your projects**, is the central hub you see immediately after logging in to [Document360](https://portal.document360.io/). It displays all the projects you are associated with — as an owner, team member, or reader — and provides quick access to project settings, documentation editor, and the knowledge base site. Each project tile shows a visibility tag indicating whether the project is public, private, or mixed.

## When to use the project dashboard

Use the project dashboard when you need to:

- Switch between multiple Document360 projects from a single interface.
- Create a new project or a sandbox project to test configurations safely.
- Access project-specific settings, the documentation editor, or the live knowledge base site.

## How to navigate the project dashboard

### Viewing your projects

Upon logging in, the dashboard displays a tile for every project you have access to. Click any tile to open that project.

Each project tile contains the following elements:

| Element | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Logo** | Project logo for quick identification. |
| **Project name** | The name assigned to the project. |
| **Project reader access** | Indicates whether the project is Public, Private, or Mixed. |
| **Settings** | Opens project-specific settings directly from the tile. |
| **Documentation editor** | Opens the knowledge base portal to create and manage documentation. |
| **View in knowledge base site** | Navigates to the live knowledge base site for the project. |

### Creating a new or sandbox project

To start a new project or a sandbox project, select the **New project** or **Sandbox project** button in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

### Managing your profile

Select the profile icon to manage your personal account settings or log out of Document360.

### Checking release updates

Select the **Release updates** icon to view the latest Document360 product enhancements and features. Expand any release post to read the full details.

### Using the Help menu

Select the **Help** icon to access support resources:

| Option | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Documentation** | Detailed guides and resources for navigating and using Document360. |
| **Issues/Clarifications** | Report platform issues or ask clarification questions. |
| **Submit a feature request** | Suggest new features or improvements. |
| **System status** | Check the current operational status of Document360 services. |

## Best practices

- **Use sandbox projects** to test new configurations or content structures before applying changes to a live project.
- **Access the knowledge base site directly** from the tile to verify how published content appears to readers without leaving the dashboard.
