# Troubleshooting notification issues

## Broken custom icon in notification emails (Outlook)

#### Cause

In Microsoft Outlook, the custom icon (logo) in notification emails may appear as a broken image. This occurs because Outlook blocks externally hosted images by default due to its security settings.

This is expected behavior and not an issue with the email configuration.

#### Resolution

Add the sender to your Safe Senders list using one of the following methods.

**From the email**

1. Open the email.
2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯).
3. Select **Block** > **Never block sender**.

**From Outlook settings**

1. Go to **Settings**.
2. Navigate to **Mail** > **Junk Email**.
3. Add the sender’s email address or domain under **Safe Senders**.
