# Using AI writer

This guide provides a detailed, step-by-step process for accessing and configuring AI settings, interacting with the Document360 interface, and editing and formatting text using various tools and features.

## Go to 'Eddy AI settings'

In the left navigation bar, navigate to Settings . Under AI settings , click Eddy AI settings .

## Enable 'AI writer' option

To use the AI writer suite functionalities in your Advanced WYSIWYG editor, turn on the AI writer toggle.

## Start writing with Eddy AI

In the new empty article you have created, click Start writing with Eddy AI to draft an article content using Eddy AI.

## Create an article using prompt

Go to the article you've created and enter a topic or an idea on the Create article using prompt field. Press Enter to start generating the content.

## AI content generation

The content will start generating.

## Insert the AI content

After the content is generated, choose the options Keep it , Discard , or Modify response . Select Modify response to adjust the generated content using the available options, or refine it further by entering text in the input field.

## 'Change tone' of the content.

If you wish to change the tone of the passage, click Change tone to rephrase your text as Professional , Friendly , Casual , Straightforward , or Confident .

## 'Convert speech' of the content generated.

You can convert the speech's style from Direct to indirect or Indirect to direct.

## 'Change voice' of the content.

You can also change the voice of the content by choosing either Active voice or Passive voice .

## Insert the AI content

Once the content is generated or modified, choose Keep it option to insert the article.

## Quick insert menu

In an empty editor, click to find the Quick insert menu that appears as a floating option within an empty block. It allows users to quickly add commonly used elements to their articles. Click the Eddy AI Writer icon to generate AI-powered content directly in your article.

## Use the AI content

Enter the desired prompt or topic and hit Enter . Eddy AI will generate an initial draft based on the provided input.

## Article is inserted successfuly

The article has been inserted successfully.

## Edit content using AI writer options

Click drag a specific content to find the Eddy AI writer options.

## Eddy AI writer

Click Eddy AI to view the available options. You can modify the selected paragraph based on the chosen options.

## Generate a table from the content

For example, if you wish to change any content or data to a tablular form, click Generate from the options, and select Table .

## Replace the content

Eddy will generate a table with the selected text. Once the table is generated, click Replace . Click Regenerate if you wish to have a different response.

## Rearrange the order

If you need to rearrange the order of the paragraphs, arrow options are given where you can either move it a row above or a row below. You can also delete the specific paragraph by selecting the Delete icon.

To make quick changes to the article, click the Eddy AI icon at the bottom-right corner and select the desired option.
