Cookie consent has become an integral part of a website or application in recent years and more so after the EU's General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR).

You can easily add a cookie consent bar/pop-up in your Document360 knowledge base for your readers.

Adding a cookie consent message in your knowledge base

  1. Go to SettingsKnowledge base siteCookie consent
  2. In the Cookie consent overview page, you can see a default cookie consent message for the Global category on Document360

Select language

  1. The cookie consent message and style can be localized for each language in your knowledge base.
The cookie consent message in the Global category would be visible across all the languages.

If there is no separate cookie consent added for specific languages in your project, the Global cookie consent is displayed.

Content

  1. Add your custom cookie consent message, use basic text formatting (Bold, italic, Underline), and add hyperlinks. There are no character limits for your message
  2. If you want to switch back to the default message from Document360 by clicking on the Restore default cookie message at the bottom of the content field

  3. As the consent is needed from the site visitor, a CTA (Call to action) is important

  5. In the Banner style, you can select the color theme of the Cookie consent message
