Using the attachments option, the author can add file attachments to the article. The attachments can be any downloadable file.

Adding attachments

To add an attachment to an article from the Knowledge base portal,

  1. Navigate to any article (Published or Unpublished)
  2. Click on the "Article settings" icon at the top right
  3. A popup appears with the available article settings
  4. Click the "Attachments" tab
  5. Add the file URL if it is hosted on an external platform
  6. If the file is available in your local storage, click the "Upload an attachment" section
  7. Click "Insert" when you are done adding the file

The added attachment appears below the Table of contents and Tags on the Knowledge base site.
