The reader analytics page provides an overview of the reader's information in your Private access or Mixed access project.

Readers' information available on the overview page are

  • Total readers
  • Self-registered readers
  • Frequent readers
  • Email
  • Reader type
  • Views
  • Reads
  • Last login

Accessing the Reader analytics page

  1. From the Knowledge base portal, navigate to "Analytics and then select Reader"

  2. Total Readers : Represents the total number of readers accessing the knowledge base.

  3. Self-registered readers: Total number of readers who have self-registered.

  4. Frequent reader: Total number of readers who frequently access our articles.

Filter the data for the last week (default filter selection) are displayed (You can customize the filter based on your date range)

Custom date range

The date range for filtering data starts from July 8, 2023.

Depending on your plan, the available date range options vary:

  • For Business and Professional plans, users can select a date range of up to 3 months
  • For Enterprise and Enterprise Plus plans, users can select a date range of up to 12 months
  1. You can filter the readers by selecting options such as "All readers", "Self-registration", "SSO", "JWT", and "Invited readers" from the dropdown menu.

  2. The Reader Analytics section displays data for the last week by default, including fields such as Email, Reader Type, Views, Reads, and Last Login:

  • Email: Shows the email of the reader.
  • Reader Type: Indicates the type of reader, like Self-registration, SSO, JWT, or Invited readers.
  • Views: Represents the number of clicks, counted once per browser.
  • Reads: Calculated based on scrolling, clicking, and time spent on the page.
  • Last Login: Reflects the last login dates of the reader.
  1. You can export the reader insights you view on the page into a CSV by clicking the "Export CSV"
