Export to PDF feature can be used to create and share offline PDFs from your Knowledge base content, including only the versions, languages, categories, and articles you specify. Any number of PDF templates can be generated and downloaded on demand.


Accessing the Export to PDF page

Go to Content tools → Import & Export → Export to PDF and choose the Content templates/Design templates tab.

Content templates

Create a custom PDF content template (the content you want in your PDF), and add PDF attributes like the File name and Design template. The exported PDF can also be password protected if the user chooses to add a level of access security.

Design templates

Create a custom PDF design template which can be used to style the PDF to be exported. Users can configure the visual aspects like cover page, table of content, watermark, layout, header & footer, and font settings.
