Document360 uses Disqus, a commenting plug-in, to allow end-users to comment on articles within a knowledge base.

To enable Disqus, you’ll first need to set up and configure the Disqus integration

Once configured, commenting will be enabled on all articles by default.


How to enable comments on a public article?

If you don't have the Disqus integration enabled, end-users can't comment on a public article.

  1. Go to the desired article in the Knowledge base portal

  2. Click Article Settings (gear icon) at the top right

  3. Under Preferences, select the Enable feedback check box

  4. Click Save

How to disable comments on a public article?

If you don't have the Disqus integration enabled, end-users can't comment on a public article.

  1. Go to the desired article in the Knowledge base portal

  2. Click Article Settings (gear icon) at the top right

  3. Under Preferences, clear the Enable feedback check box

  4. Click Save

If you want to disable public comments on every article:

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Knowledge base site -> Integrations

  2. Click Delete on the Disqus list item.

Doing this removes the integration entirely. If, in the future, you decide to re-enable Disqus, you'll need to re-configure the integration by following the steps found in the Disqus topic
