4. How to change the favicon of the Knowledge base site?

  1. Go to SettingsKnowledge base siteCustomize site
  2. Under the Settings section, you can find the Favicon icon
  3. Click the icon, and a popup appears with the option to upload from URL or Drive
    • For uploading from URL: Enter the URL and click Insert
    • For uploading from Drive: Click Upload an image and select the desired image in the Drive. Click the Insert button
  4. Once you are done, click Save

5. How to change the text in the search bar as per the selected language?

  1. Go to SettingsKnowledge base portalLocalization & WorkspacesLocalization & Workspaces
  2. Select the desired language in the language list
  3. Expand the General section, and you can find the 'Search' text
  4. Type in the desired text you want inside the search bar
  5. Click Save

6. How can the 'View all results for' text be changed in the Knowledge base?

  2. Select the desired language in the language list
  3. Expand the General section, and you can find the 'View all results for' text

  4. Type in the desired text you want instead of 'Table of contents'

  2. Under the Article bottom section, you can find the Show Previous/Next navigations toggle

9. How to add an image and text as the logo?

Currently, you can add either image or text as the logo. You cannot add both image and text as the logo.

To change the logo:

  1. Go to SettingsKnowledge base siteCustomize site
  2. Under Site Logo, select the desired checkbox

Image as the logo

  • Select YOUR LOGO or Image. Now, you can add the logo image in one of two options available:
    • Using a URL: Paste the image URL from any external source and click Insert
    • Upload an image: Choose your file from the Drive or Upload an image from your local computer storage and click Insert
  • You can see a preview of the chosen logo image in the Preview section
  • Click Save

Text as the logo

  • Select the text checkbox and add the desired text

For example, you can add a company name or tagline instead of a logo image.

  • You can see a preview of the chosen logo text in the Preview section
  • Click Save

10. Why are changes not getting reflected immediately on the site?

The pages in the Knowledge base site are currently cached for 15 minutes. Thus, the changes can take up to 15 minutes to reflect on your Knowledge base. We have implemented this cache mechanism for the Knowledge base site of public projects.
