Features/Enhancements
Improved article editing experience
Category: Content management | Enhancement
The editor in your knowledge base portal is now enhanced to match the viewing experience of the knowledge base site with a simplified and cleaner look. You can now quickly access the AI title recommender, and the options to edit the article URL and description by clicking the article title. To make it easier to choose how you want to create an article, the Article option in the Create menu now opens a sub-menu with options to start from scratch, use a template, or import content. Additionally, when creating a new article, you can also create a new category directly from the category dropdown.

Feedback manager for Eddy AI search
Category: Eddy AI | Feature
Readers can now provide detailed feedback on Eddy AI search results in the Knowledge base site, including likes, dislikes, missing information, and incorrect references. In the Knowledge base portal, users with relevant permissions can view, filter, and manage feedback in the extended Feedback manager. Also, Eddy AI analytics now provides insights into feedback on Eddy AI’s responses for user queries.

Replicate articles across workspaces
Category: Content management | Feature
You could previously replicate articles within the same workspace; now, you can use the same functionality to replicate articles across workspaces. This eliminates the need for duplicate articles. Replicated items maintain their original status and automatically reflect updates from the source.

Improved Eddy AI search with hybrid semantic understanding
Category: Eddy AI search | Enhancement
Eddy AI’s search is now powered by hybrid search, combining traditional keyword matching with semantic understanding. This means your readers will get more accurate and relevant results—even if their queries use different wording from your article content.
Other updates
Here are additional updates aimed at enhancing navigation, workflow efficiency, and ensuring a consistent content creation experience.
You can now translate longer articles using machine translation, as HTML tags no longer count toward the 50,000-character limit.
You can now quickly add rows and columns to a table using the new “+” button. The table gutter design has also been enhanced for a cleaner editing experience.
When you create a new article version and wish to restore to the previous version using the Undo option, you will now see a confirmation popup, which will prevent any accidental content loss.
If you have a private knowledge base, your readers’ email will now be auto populated in the widget’s feedback form, just like in the main site’s feedback form.
NOTE
Minor security updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements have also been implemented across the Knowledge base portal and Knowledge base site.
