The Knowledge Base Assistant must be installed into your application or website before users can interact with it.

Installing the Knowledge base assistant in Document360 site

1_Screenshot-Generating_api_key

  1. Go to Settings → Knowledge base assistant → Installation & Setup
  2. Under the Installation section, expand the Assistant JavaScript
  3. You can find the Assistant key and the JavaScript codes
  4. Click Generate icon → Yes (or) Click Re-Generate icon next to the Assistant key. A new Assistant key is generated
  5. Click the Copy button and the code snippet is copied

  1. Navigate to Settings → Knowledge base site → Integrations
  2. Click New Integration and select Custom HTML.

  1. Select the End body and paste the copied code snippet in the code window
  2. Turn on the STATUS toggle and click Add

  1. The Knowledge base assistant is installed successfully

Installed domains

You can find the list of domains that are installed with your Assistant.

  1. Go to Settings → Knowledge base assistant → Installation & Setup
  2. Under the Installation section, expand the Installed domains
  3. The domain name and last access can be viewed in this section.
