Staying connected with customers in real-time is vital in any business, and so it will be trivial to add a live chat box to your platform.

Document360 comes with an integration feature, where you can integrate LiveChat with your Document360 knowledge base. Live chat also cuts costs as a single agent can talk with several customers simultaneously and still retain high customer satisfaction rates.




You can do this with a few simple steps. You can follow the below steps to integrate live chat with your Document360 knowledge base.

  1. From the Document360 portal, go to Settings → Knowledge base site → Integrations
  2. Click the Add new integration button at the top right, and this opens an Integration setup panel
  3. Select LiveChat from the list of integrations available in the Integration panel.


  1. Add a Description and enter the LiveChat ID
What is LiveChat ID?

LiveChat ID is a small piece of code that you can get from the LiveChat application, and you use it for Document360+LiveChat Integration in the Document360 Knowledge base portal.

  1. Enable the Status toggle bar and Click Add button in the bottom

If required, you can add advanced insertion rules to your LiveChat chatbox using the advanced insertion rules option in the integration panel.

How to get the LiveChat ID?

1. If you are an existing customer in Live Chat:

You can get the Live Chat ID in two ways.

a. Open your LiveChat dashboard, click install from the top bar, and click Install LiveChat code menu manually (you can find the Live Chat ID inside in the window._lc.licesce= (you can search this in the snippet) code.


b. In the LiveChat dashboard, click send code to developer and this will open an Installation form popup where you can add an email id in the Developer's email field to get the code through mail

2. If you are a new LiveChat user/customer:

In the initial Live Chat Account setup, you can copy the LiveChat ID during the Installation process.

After you complete the LiveChat ID integration setup in your Document360 knowledge base portal, open your Live Chat account interface to view and reply to the live chats from your users.

With LiveChat, you can set up bots that can pre-screen conversations in your Documentation site's LiveChat chatbox. Thus helping satisfy your customers with their regular queries.
