Editing a glossary term

❌ Term name cannot be updated
❌ All/Language settings cannot be updated when the glossary term is associated with any article/category
✅ Term definition can be updated at any time

  1. Go to Content tools → Content reuse → Glossary
  2. The list of existing glossary terms appear
  3. Hover over the term you want to edit
  4. Click Edit (pencil) icon on the right and Edit term popup appears
  5. Update the definition as per your requirement
  6. Once done, click Update

Deleting a glossary term

❌ Terms associated with any article/category cannot be deleted.

  1. Go to Content tools → Content reuse → Glossary
  2. The list of existing glossary terms appear
  3. Hover over the term you want to remove from the term library
  4. Click the Delete (Trashbin) icon on the right
  5. Delete confirmation popup appears
  6. Click Yes

Deleting a term with dependencies

  1. Click on the "View" option in the Glossary term row
  2. View the dependencies in the "Articles/Categories used" blade
  3. Expand the dependency and click on the article

  1. A new tab opens with the article in 'portal-view'
  2. Manually remove the Glossary term association
  3. Navigate back to the Glossary overview page
  4. Click on the Delete icon next to the term

Deleting multiple glossary terms

❌ Terms associated with the articles/categories cannot be deleted.

  1. Go to Content tools → Content reuse → Glossary
  2. The list of existing glossary terms appear
  3. Select the terms you want to delete
  4. The number of terms selected appears at the top of the list

For example, 8 rows selected

  1. Click Delete option at the top
  2. A Delete confirmation popup appears
  3. Click Yes
