Adding an SEO title
The SEO title differs from an article title and will appear on a search engine result page, or when the article link is shared on social media or other websites.
This allows you to optimize a title to include more keywords that relate to your product than you would in your knowledge base. Setting the SEO title does not change the title of the article in your knowledge base. By default, SEO title is the article title. However, it can be changed for SEO purposes.
To add an SEO title:
- Navigate to the desired article, click Article Settings.
- Click SEO
- Enter the desired SEO title in the Title field
- Click Save
Adding an article description
Similar to the SEO title, the article description is the summary that will be returned on a search engine result page or when the article link is shared on social media. An article description should be short, concise, compelling, and descriptive of the content within the article.
To add an article description:
- Navigate to the desired article, click Article Settings
- Click SEO
- Enter the article description in the Description field
- Click Save
Adding an Featured image
The SEO image will appear with an SEO title and description when the article link is shared on social media or other websites.
To add a featured image:
- Navigate to the desired article, click Article Settings.
- Open the Featured Image dropdown
- Click Upload an Image
- Choose an image from the Drive menu
- Click Save
To remove a featured image:
- Navigate to the desired article, click Article Settings
- Open the Featured Image dropdown
- Click Remove Featured Image
- Click Save

To exclude an article from search results:
