Replicate articles

The "Replicate" article feature lets you display one article in multiple categories. The replicated articles are termed "References" in Document360.

  1. From the Category manager on the Documentation section

  2. Click the ••• (More) option next to the article (or) the More option available at the top of the editor pane

  3. Select Replicate

  1. A category selection popup appears

  2. Choose the location inside your Knowledge base category or subcategory

  3. Click the "Replicate" button

  1. The article is available in the selected location as a "Reference" on the Knowledge base portal and as a regular article on the Knowledge base site

  2. If you want to edit the article, you can do it only on the source article

  3. Certain article settings capabilities are turned off in the "Reference" articles

Clone articles

"Clone" articles are an exact copy of the content created as new articles. You can clone the articles withn or across workspace.

  1. From the Category manager on the Documentation section

  2. Click the More option next to the article (or) the More option available at the top of the editor pane

  3. Select Clone article

  1. A Clone article popup appears

  2. Enter the name of the article

    • Workspace: Select the desired workspaces from the dropdown. Click Reset to assign it under the main workspace
    • Category: Select the existing category from the selected workspace
  3. By checking Auto update referenced links in this article box, the inserted links in the article content will be updated based on the desired workspace or category

Security restrictions will be applied based on the destination workspaces / categories.

Once done, click Clone
