Features/Enhancements
Introducing the Floik AI Capture bundle
Category: Floik AI | Feature
You no longer need third-party tools to capture media for your documentation. With the new Floik AI Capture bundle, you can create step by step guides, screen captures, video recordings, and interactive demos directly from the Advanced WYSIWYG editor on your Chrome browser.
Step by step guides: Record your screen while performing a walkthrough. Floik AI automatically extracts key screenshots from the video and converts them into a sequence of steps with instructions.
Screen capture: Take screenshots of a selected area, browser tab, or window. You can annotate and edit the captures before embedding them into your article. Captures are automatically saved to your Document360 Drive.
Video recording: Record screen activity for a selected area, tab, or window. You can choose Screen only video or Screen + Camera video while recording. You can trim or edit the video, add AI-generated voiceovers in multiple languages and captions, and embed the video in your article.
Interactive demos: Build guided, clickable walkthroughs with tooltips, hotspots, and voiceovers to simulate real product interactions within your documentation.
This bundle is available exclusively on KB Site 2.0 for all customers as an add on. Existing customers can try the bundle free for 7 days. After the trial, it can be purchased as an add-on by sending a request to the support team.
PDF export enhancements
Category: PDF export | Enhancement
We’ve introduced several improvements to the PDF export feature to make your exported documentation more accurate, customizable, and consistent with your knowledge base site.
The enhancements include:
Custom TOC labels: You can change the default “Table of Contents” text, with support for localization.
Watermark support: Add watermarks to your PDFs with options to adjust position and opacity.
Cover page customization: New option to upload a full-page background image for the cover page, with adjustable opacity to align with your company branding.
Export controls: Admins can now disable the option to export multiple articles at once, based on organizational needs.

Other updates
You can now create decision trees in the default language of your project. Interactive decision trees are available in all the languages supported in the Documentation module. This allows you to create localized content for different regions within the same workspace.
The language dropdown on the knowledge base site will now only appear if multiple languages are configured. When there is only one language, the dropdown is hidden, reducing confusion for readers and preventing the impression that other language versions exist.
On the knowledge base site, article and category titles in the category tree now wrap to a second line before being truncated with an ellipsis, making longer titles easier to read.
Article redirection rules now support source URLs containing the ‘+’ character. This ensures smoother article migrations when URLs include ‘+’.
The portal and settings pages have been refreshed with an updated design for a more consistent experience.
NOTE
Minor security updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements have also been implemented across the Knowledge base portal and Knowledge base site.
