Article Summary

When an article is viewed on the knowledge base, there are multiple elements shown on the public version that are not shown when it is in the Documentation Editor:

  1. An article header
  2. Right sidebar,
  3. Left sidebar
  4. An article footer
  5. Related articles

On each of these elements, there are several options for what information is shown in them, such as:

  • A table of contents
  • A contributor list
  • A published/updated date
  • Etc.

By default, all article details are automatically shown, and each one can be enabled/disabled in the Article Settings and SEO section of Settings.

Any changes you make in Article Settings and SEO will apply to every article in your knowledge base. Some settings, such as Table of Contents or Allow Commenting, can be configured for individual articles.
