Article Summary

What is starred article?

If you use some articles frequently in your documentation, move them to Starred and access them easily. This feature is similar to the favorites section and applicable only in the knowledge base portal. All the articles can be starred except the referenced(shared) articles.


Accessing starred articles

All the starred articles are added to Starred page in the Documentation.

  • Go to DocumentationStarred
  • Use the Entity dropdown to filter the articles

Star an article

There are five ways to star an article.

Method 1

  1. Hover over the desired article in the category manager
  2. Click the ••• (More) option adjacent to the article name
  3. Select Add to starred

  1. Go to the desired article in the Documentation editor
  2. Click the ••• (More) option next to the Edit / Publish button at the top right
  3. Select Add to starred

Method 3

  1. Go to the desired article in the Documentation editor
  2. Click the '✰' icon next to the article title

Method 4

This method applies only to the articles in the index category and folder category.

  1. Navigate to the category in which the article is present in the Documentation editor
  2. Click the ••• (More) option adjacent to the article name
  3. Select Add to starred

Method 5

In this method, you can move multiple articles into the starred section.

  1. Navigate to the category in which the articles are present in the Documentation editor
  2. Select the checkbox adjacent to the desired articles
  3. Click the Add to starred option

How to remove an article from starred?

There are six ways to remove an article from starred.

Method 1

  1. Hover over the desired article in the category manager
  2. Click the ••• (More) option adjacent to the article name
  3. Select Remove from starred

Method 2

  1. Go to the desired article in the Documentation editor
  2. Click the ••• (More) option next to the Edit / Publish button on the top right
  3. Select Remove from starred

  1. Go to the desired article in the Documentation editor
  2. Click the '★' icon next to the article title

Method 4

  1. Navigate to the category in which the article is present in the Documentation editor
  2. Click the ••• (More) option adjacent to the article name
  3. Select Remove from starred

Method 5

In this method, you can remove multiple articles from starred.

  1. Navigate to the category in which the desired articles are present in the Documentation editor
  2. Select the checkbox adjacent to the desired articles
  3. Click the Remove from starred option

In this method, you can remove multiple articles from starred.

  1. Go to DocumentationStarred
  2. Select the Entity dropdown on the top right and choose Article, and the list of starred articles appears
  3. Select the checkbox adjacent to the desired articles
  4. Click the Remove from starred option

To remove an article from starred:

  • In the Starred page, click ••• (More) icon adjacent to the star icon and select Remove from starred
