What is a 404 page?

A 404 page appears when a reader tries to access a nonexistent page on our Knowledge base site.

For example, when a reader tries to access a deleted URL in your Knowledge base, a 404 page appears

Customize the 404 error page of your knowledge base site by adding a custom message and illustration to assist the reader with a better understanding. This would allow the readers to navigate to the desired page instead of stagnating on a default 404 page. Add links and attractive titles, descriptions, and images. You can customize the 404 page using the basic or custom style.

You cannot switch back to your default 404 page after configuring a custom 404 page. It is recommended to have a custom 404 page to enhance the reader experience.
